The Accurate Depiction Of “Baby It’s Cold Outside”

With Christmas later this week we are at maximum saturation for Christmas music. One of the most popular songs on everyone's holiday playlist is the classic Baby It's Cold Outside. Up until a couple of years ago I had never REALLY listened to the lyrics of this yuletide treat. It's kind of...rapey. And a little kidnappingy. I'm sure the writer of the song would say that we are all just reading a lot into it. Then again, he wrote this homage to drugging girls and using the weather as an excuse to sexual assault someone. So, his opinion doesn't carry much weight. Plus he's probably dead.
