Scarlett Johansson, Renee Olstead, and Audrina Patridge Drop the Tinsel Town Sexy at ‘The Avengers’ Premiere

Less than two weeks now until The Avengers hits the big screen and Hollywood threw a big old fashioned hottie bash last night at Graumann's Chinese Theater to celebrate the premiere. With Disney in lead ownership position, not only were the film stars present, but everybody connected to any Disney show anywhere in the history of time and space was pushed before the cameras in a major Mouse House pimptacular event. Still, we don't mind.

Not when the array of hotties grows even larger by sheer volume. Leading the pack last night in the sextastic red carpet department was Scarlett Johansson, natch, The Black Widow, who even though she's closed up her shell a bit since her rough times last year, can not hide her inner hotness. In addition to ScarJo, we found ourselves getting tingly over our former ginger crush, Renee Olstead, BBT starlet Cobie Smulders, pumpkin headed hottie, Audrina Patridge, and the latest Disney starlet pipeline future hottie, Bella Thorne, who is far too young to associate with tingles (but put them in a box for a few years down the road when we can pull them out again).

It was quite the thing last night. Expect a monumental box office showing from The Avengers. Enjoy.

Cousin Jonathan says that Black Widow is the lamest Avenger because she doesn't have any particularly special superpowers and I say that her power is being Scarlett Johansson, being super curvy hot and kicking ass.

So I punched him in the junk to drive home the point.

Check out this first released clip from the upcoming The Avengers and judge for yourself how special Black Widow is.

Joss Whedon Talks ‘The Avengers’ And Its Sequel!

'The Avengers' has not even reached our multiplexes yet but discussions about the movies inevitable sequel, or most likely sequels, has already begun. Joss Whedon, the films writer and director, has also been clearing up a few questions regarding Loki, 'The Avengers' antagonist and the impressive army he has assembled to beat Ironman, The Hulk, Captain America et al.

Talking to Total Film Magazine he said, "It is not the Kree or the Skrulls. Those two aliens are Marvel mainstays and have enormous backstories. They have a big life of their own that just could not be contained in a film where I already had seven movie stars .. The Skrulls - they can shape change. That's a whole thing. I've already got Loki. He's got magic. Once you got magic along with your Iron Man and your Black Widow - it's a real juggling act."

Sounds like a millionaire complaining about how tight his diamond encrusted shoes are doesn't he?

‘The Avengers’ Gets A New British Title

Latest Avengers Trailer
Check Out the Hulk in All his CGI HD Glory. Watch »

Only a few days after the release of its brand new trailer and with just under two months to go until it is finally released into cinemas, Marvel have decided to rename The Avengers for the U.K. It shall be now be known to those island empire wankers as Marvel Avengers Assemble.

The decision was made so that U.K. audiences don't confuse the adventures of Nicky Fury, Ironman, and The Hulk with those of the 1960s TV series, The Avengers, and its 1998 film adaptation, which starred Uma Thurman and Ralph Fiennes and was a complete box office flop.

U.S. viewers don't have to be worried though. The studio has decided that The Avengers film of 1998 wasn't popular enough for Americans to remember, and are now gearing up for the comic book Avengers film release on the 4th of May.

And lest you think this is some victory for the Yanks, don't forget the the film will be in theaters in Britain a full week before its U.S. release. Time for another revolution perhaps.

2012 Movie Summer Blockbusters Preview

This summer promises to be the most profitable in celluloid history. I know what you're thinking, you hear this every year. But 2012 is different. From March onwards there is a steady stream of movies entering our multiplexes that will also bombard us with various kinds of advertisements, each one more annoying than the last.

There will be blockbusters that feature established characters who are being unleashed upon us for either a sequel or reboot, confirmed money making actors trying to deliver new creations and there is even the prospect of half a dozen comic book heroes combining together to save the globe. Each of these films are destined to make an obscene amount of money that a small country would be jealous of.
