‘Gangster Squad’ First-Look Pics Busts Through Your Computer Screen Like a Tommy Gun Through a Rat Informant
Prepare to immerse yourself in the world of crime in Gangster Squad with the likes of Nick Nolte, Ryan Gosling, and Josh Brolin (who you probably saw last in MIB 3). Los Angeles was a raging hub for gangsters back in the forties and fifties, but that's all about to change if Nolte and his crew had their way.
Sean Penn steps in to play mob king of all mobsters, Mickey Cohen (he's a real person, by the way), and he proves to be a worthy adversary to the LAPD detectives.
The movie doesn't hit until January 11th of next year, but a bevy of behind-the-scenes images recently debuted on W Magazine to tease everyone about its release. Director Ruben Fleischer sheds some light on each of the photos with his commentary.
