Jo Garcia, Playboy’s Gamer Next Door, Drops Zombie Science Reviewing Resident Evil 6 (VIDEO)

Our thoughts on Capcom's Resident Evil 6 will be coming up soon and since we hate making you wait, we humbly offer Playboy's Gamer Next Door Jo Garcia as a placeholder. Actually it's her review of Resident Evil 6 that's the placeholder. Jo Garcia herself isn't holding anything's place for anybody ever. A woman with those looks and that much video game knowledge shouldn't be held back in any way.

Not to ruin too much of her piece but Resident Evil 6 is changing things up a bit by offering multiple storylines/missions and cool, playable bonus content for the persistent players out there. Jump into her review, keep your eyes where they're supposed to be and  you might even learn a thing or two about the history of the Resident Evil franchise. Goodness knows we've tried to teach you about RE, to no avail. So this is us bringing out the big guns, so to speak.

In any case head on over to her Playboy environment and keep your eyes on the articles, not the naughty pictures.

Halloween Themed Update Coming to DC Universe Online

October is officially upon us and that means we crawl ever closer to Halloween; where Satan's armies emerge through the pits of Hell to fill the nighttime streets in search of candy. Yes, those little bastards will once again roam our cities for one night as we give them treats in exchange for not having our homes egged. As you grow older, Halloween may lose most of it's charm but DC Universe Online is making sure we all get a treat this year.

The timing isn't really surprising since much of the press had been denied access to the game throughout the summer and the thing was believed to be due on store shelves sometime in October --which is when NBA 2K13 and most hoop titles like to show up to capitalize on the excitement around the upcoming NBA season. You can't launch a game that nobody has seen in working condition. Read More » »

There's a whole tidal wave of new screenshots for Halo 4, to go with the ones we dropped on you  last week, over at the super official Waypoint. Cold Coffee: Unfinished Games

As the video game industry continued to push forward, full throttle, games are becoming larger and much more complex. Massive teams of developers are working for months and sometime even years to create these larger than life games; it makes you wonder how they find the time to finish every little rock or tree. The answer is simple…they don’t.

Often, while wandering open world games such as Fallout or The Elder Scrolls, players will discover trees hovering above the ground or other such unfinished visual errors. These are understandable and are rarely anything out in the open that most players will see immediately. Small visual blunders aren’t the real issue when it comes to these games; it’s the bugs that come with them.
