Models are caught in a vicious circle, I think. They are forced to be out in the sun, constantly showing off their bodies, trying to maintain interest and relevancy. But because they are at the beach, the Sun is intense and saps their energy out of them. This leads to them being exhausted and they end up having to lie down all the time like lions (which might be why they are called that in the first place).

Sadly, if they stop going to the beach then they will lose their relevancy. It is not like anyone wants to look at a woman that is fully clothed if she is only known for her body. That would be pointless. Like owning a classic car, but keeping the cover on it all the time.

I think this is why fitness models are usually more active. Their job requires them to workout frequently, most gyms are indoors, so they do not get as tired. This means that they have more energy to go out and do whatever it is that they do in their free time. And if they were not working out then they would have even more energy, but then they also would not have the bodies that made them famous. I guess they have their own vicious circle.
