As all you Ego-dads know damn well, parenthood is a hell of a thing. Sometimes, you're dropped in right at the deep end, with no idea what this ‘child' thing is that you now seem to own. Why does it shit so much? What's all that screaming about? Where's all my money/time/sex gone? Your world's suddenly upside down.
Snark aside, nothing changes your life faster than adding a lil' urchin of your own to it. It's a learning experience like none other. Who's Your Daddy is the game that brilliantly parodies that whole situation.
This two-player affair casts one of you as a proud new pa, and the other as his baby. Dad's job is to babyproof freaking everything in the apartment as quickly as possible. As the baby, you –grim as it sounds—just try to end yourself by any means necessary.
Imagine a cartoon dude running around panicking and desperately moving things, while the Benny Hill theme plays, and you've just about got what they're going for with this one. It's pretty funny, all told, and players' reactions in Steam reviews make it all the better. Kotaku's ‘As Told By Steam Reviews' series is always solid gold, but these responses to the game are some of my favorites in a while. Check out some of the highlights:
The game's doing the rounds on Steam Greenlight now, and it really sounds like something we should all be part of.
