So Sony and Microsoft have both busted out a little early 2016 PRtastic (that's here and here respectively, in case you weren't paying attention). There's been talk of new IPs, the arrival of PlayStation VR, exclusives, sales figures, all of that good stuff.

If you don't yet own a PS4/Xbox One, this is the year to get off your ass. That's the message. But them's fighting words, right there. If you're going to be bandying the hype about, you've got to be ready to back it up. We want some top-quality upcoming games to ogle, and we want them now.

So feast your eyes. Below is Sony's spangly little guide to PlayStation's 2016. PS4 has quite the showing, with Horizon: Zero Dawn, Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, Street Fighter V and The Last Guardian exclusive to the system. There's also Firewatch, Boundless, Gravity Rush 2 and Paragon:

Sure, in some cases they just mean console exclusive but also heading PC-ward, but let's not be pernickety. I'd have preferred if they'd remembered that the Vita still exists, too, but you can't have everything.
