Now who doesn't hate ads? They usually air at the worst times possible (usually when the main character is about to get it). They're usually for stuff I don't care for (a scrambled egg maker? Seriously?). And some of them are just plain annoying (don't even get me started on this one.)
But while you can't get rid of them unless you record your shows for viewing later on, you can at least drown the sounds out. Of course, you can do that by using your regular TV remote, but where's the fun in that?
Instead, shut your TV up like a boss with the Smash Mute! It's a giant novelty mute button for your television set that will give you pure, unadulterated silence after you smash the crap out of that gigantic red button.
These buttons will especially come in handy when those louder-than-usual ads invade your screen. And the use of the Smash Mute isn't limited to ads. Simply use it to shut your TV up whenever you want (or need) to. It's that simple.
You can get the Smash Mute for $19.95 (plus $5 shipping and handling) from SmashMute.com.
