Sienna Miller: Pittsburgh = “Shitsburgh”

Sienna Miller has stepped in it. Stepped in "Shitsburgh," that is. In an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, the 24-year-old British actress held nothing back when talking about filming her new movie The Mysteries of Pittsburgh in the self same city. According to the Pittsburgh Tribune Review, Sienna Miller doesn't exactly consider Pittsburgh to be the most glamourous city.

Can you believe this is my life? Will you pity me when you're back in your funky New York apartment and I'm still in Pittsburgh? I need to get more glamorous films.

Of course, it goes without saying that everyone in Shits... I mean, Pittsburgh probably hates Sienna Miller now, but, and without trying to offend everyone in Pittsburgh, can we please be real here. Sienna's kind of right. She probably shouldn't have called it "Shitsburgh" in an interview with Rolling Stone, but she is right.

I'm sure there's nothing wrong with Pittsburgh, but there's nothing glamorous about Pittsburgh, either. I've never been there myself, and I don't know anyone who has. But that's the point, and there's a reason for that. It's Pittsburgh.

More pictures of Sienna Miller shopping in London, not Pittsburgh, cuz she really wouldn't go shopping in Pittsburgh, after the jump.

Apologetic Update: So, apparently, while laughing at the city of Pittsburgh might be funny to some people, it's not funny to the people of Pittsburgh. I guess I underestimated the amount of civic pride in Steel Town. My apologies. I'm sure you have a lovely city, and I'm sorry I infered it wasn't very exciting.

I think that's the first time I've ever apologized to a city. Let's see who's next.
