‘Sharknado’ Sequel to Provide Nation Vicarious Thrill of Watching Andy Dick Get Eaten By Shark

Full disclosure: I do not know for sure that Andy Dick will get eaten alive by vicious airborne sharks. The only thing that has been officially announced is that he has been cast in the highly anticipated follow up to last summer's huge B movie hit. However, the guy is not exactly hero/leading man material, so I'm going to say that the odds of Dick getting swallowed whole by a man-eater are 100%. The only real question is whether eating Dick will make the shark high.

(Note to the filmmakers: please feel free to have Andy Dick play himself and use the same Dick puns I just made.)

Of course, Andy Dick isn't the only big name actor (i.e. somebody you've heard of before) to get eaten alive in Sharknado 2: The Second One. SyFy channel also announced Mark McGrath, Kelly Osbourne, Judd Hirsch, Judah Friedlander, and Vivica A. Fox have signed on, and you'd have to assume at least 50-75% of them will get eaten, too.

Still, no one's fake TV movie death will bring us as much joy as Dick's. So I don't know about you, but for me July just cannot get here soon enough.
