See That Robot Getting Strangled? Yeah, Can You Feel the Pain? (VIDEO)

If you saw a robot getting 'strangled', would you feel sorry for it? It sounds bizarre, but that's the goal of a study conducted by researchers from the University of Duisburg-Essen. Aside from humans dangling the robot dinosaur on a thin string, it's also subjected to the sack-over-your-head torture and the old hang-you-by-your-tail technique.

In the end you'll see the wee dinosaur looking all sad and dejected. And just as you start feeling sorry for the robotic tyke, it suddenly hits you... What the f'ck did you just watch and why were you about to feel bad for the little fella when it ain't even alive?!

I guess that's human nature for you. And if you didn't give a rat's ass about the robotic dino, well, I'm not one to judge. Or care as well, for that matter.

Keep in mind though, that one man's research is another man (or woman's) fetish. Just throwing that out there.
