Sci-Fi Geeks, Rejoice: ‘Beyond Apollo’ is Headed to Venus and the Big Screen

If sci-fi and space travel is your thing, then Beyond Apollo is another movie to add to your list of must-watch flicks after Prometheus.

Beyond Apollo is Barry Malzberg's award-winning novel that tells the tale of the world's first two-man mission to Venus that ends up getting aborted in mid-flight. When the space craft lands on earth, the rescue crew opens up the ship to a mind-boggling and startling discovery: the captain is missing and the lone astronaut has no idea what just happened.

In Beyond Apollo, Harry Evans, returns to earth and must answer to the authorities about what really happened on board the doomed flight to Venus. His mind-bending struggle to figure that out is a harrowing journey through the possibilities: Was the Captain murdered? Did he commit suicide? Or were alien beings responsible for his demise? The answer is far more terrifying than anything Evans could possibly imagine.

The sci-fi thriller will be directed by writer and director Michael Grodner. Signing on as part of the movie's cast are Scott Speedman and Bill Pullman. Stay tuned for further details like the release date which are yet to be announced!
