Does anyone remember a certain presentation by Crytek back at E3 2010? Maybe a certain trailer the next year at E3 2011? Those who do recall Crytek's Kinect title 'Ryse' were certainly left wondering where it was at this year's E3. I personally shed tears over the matter. Three of them...I counted.

Microsoft Studios Vice President, Phil Spencer has assured us that Ryse is coming...just not quite yet.

We're just not at a point right now to show the game, and instead of … we're still working with Crytek, we're still extremely committed to the relationship, but we want to make sure that we're putting our best foot forward every time we show the game. -Phil Spencer, VP (Microsoft Studios)

Ever since the launch of Microsoft's Kinect, gamers have been waiting for a real badass game that would label the Kinect as something more than the "dancing game" console.

While the game does look badass and I would definitely buy a Kinect strictly to give roman beat downs, the rumor of the game being Kinect optional is definitely a much more appealing aspect and will surely help the game sell when it's released...whenever that is.
