Quidditch Pong Is The New Game For Alcoholic Nerds

One of the biggest publishing and cinematic phenomenon of the last 20 years is the Harry Potter series. Besides introducing us to hottie Emma Watson, it also invented an entire world full of magic and fun. You know, except for all the magical murder. One of the most popular things from the stories is the wizarding game Quidditch. It's similar to soccer in that the point is to get a ball in a goal. You have beaters trying to defend the goal and a goalie. The main difference, besides the fact that it's all done while flying on broomsticks, is the Snitch which is a fast moving ball that if caught ends the game. Some nerds, probably in a college somewhere, took this magical fun game for kids and added alcohol to the mix. Quidditch pong works like beer pong only you have beaters trying to keep the ball from going in the cup. You can also try for the Snitch cup which is located on the other side of the room. 

I want to be all cynical about this, as is my want, but it kind of sounds like fun. I like beer and I like Harry Potter. Find out more here for your next adult nerd gathering.
