Mendez – Resident Evil 4

One of the earliest bosses you encounter in Resident Evil 4 is the village chief ‘Mendez’. This towering trench coat of a man just screams evil right from the very start. He sort of stands in the background and instructs his men at first but it’s not long before a face-to-face encounter leaves you breathless on the floor. This guy is built like a brick shithouse but still keeps this aura of mystery around him…I blame it on his stoic personality…and that trench coat. When it finally comes time to deal with the chief, the trench coat comes off and Mendez reveals his true form: a spider…thing. As lame as it sounds, he’s pretty terrifying when he’s swinging around the rafters, swinging his arms around all crazy-like.
