Sometimes instead of actors they would use artwork, similar to that of modern day games…except for the fact that a lot of these retro games had pixel or polygon characters that really don’t need to be seen in great detail, because they’re creepy. The cover itself shows a very detailed Fox McCloud with an Arwing and the rest of his Star For team in the background. The designers made sure to have Fox’s robotic leg up on a mound of dirt in typical explorer fashion so you know that these guys have definitely seen their fair share of battles.
