Weighted Companion Cube – Portal

It takes a lot to make a list of the greatest sidekicks of all time when you’re an inanimate object. The Companion Cube from Portal, while friendly looking enough with its little hearts, is just that: a cube. Regardless, it would be impossible for the player to escape the puzzling rooms of the Aperture Laboratory without the help of him/her/it. The Companion Cube became a fan favorite of the game, partly because of its somehow bubbly personality and partly because of its unfortunate demise at the end of the game. The Companion Cube will always listen and follow orders, never betray you and try to hurt you. It’s really as close to perfection as you can come.
