Sequel Talk: ‘Taken 2′

In Taken, Liam Neeson is ex-CIA agent Bryan Mills, whose daughter Kim gets abducted when she goes off to Europe to attend a concert. To make a long story short, he rescues Kim and hunts down each and every one of the guys involved in the whole thing.It would be stupid for Kim to get kidnapped--again--in Taken 2, and Neeson agrees: "The first one for me was just a one-off. It was a huge hit, but I thought ‘That’s it.’ Then Luc Besson came back and said, ‘We want to do a sequel.’ I said, ‘Come on, how can you possibly do a sequel? What, she gets taken again? It’s crazy!"So what's a producer to do? Get Bryan kidnapped, that's what. Neeson explains: "I’m able to, in a very covert way, instruct her to find out where I am being held because a sack’s been put over my head and I’m in the middle of a fucking dungeon!"Sounds pretty impossible--for anyone except Neeson, that is.
