Barbarian Hammer – God of War II

Another enemy wielded weapon, the Barbarian Hammer is the weapon first used by Kratos’ long time enemy, the Barbarian King. Defeated with Kratos’ newly acquired Blades of Chaos; the Barbarian King returns from the afterlife in God of War II to seek revenge upon the Spartan. After defeating this hammer wielding brute, Kratos claims the hammer as his own and is free to use it for the rest of the game. Some players find it unappealing but, as with any two-handed weapon, you have to know how to use it before running into battle with it. Sure the Barbarian Hammer is an intimidating sight but it’s the ability it holds to summon cursed souls from the Underworld that is really the icing on the cake here.
