Junior Seau — 1969 – 2012

Junior Seau was found dead on May 2nd, reportedly of an apparent self inflicted gunshot wound. Seau was a fearsome linebacker at USC before becoming a star in the NFL. Seau was drafted in the first round of the 1990 NFL Draft by the San Diego Chargers, his hometown team. Seau, nicknamed "Say-Ow" for his hard hits, went to also play for the Miami Dolphins and New England Patriots.
