Gordon Freeman – Half-Life: Gordon Freeman is a special kind of character. While being of average build and size and having absolutely zero personality, Mr. Freeman managed to, somehow, become one of the most badass characters in gaming. He looks like a science teacher in a futuristic diving suit, so why is he so badass? My personal theory is that every player can relate to this average man. He’s just like us, using whatever is at his disposal (a crowbar in this case) to do what has to be done. Since most characters tend to be very loud and vibrant, it’s not so often that you see a man who looks so…normal. I have to say though; he’s got one hell of an awesome beard going on there. I even grew the same thing, except mine is white/blonde…and pathetic.
