Ragnarok – Final Fantasy VIII

Throughout decades of various Final Fantasy titles that had virtually nothing to do with each other, certain specific elements have remained true throughout most of the series. Examples of this are the name Cid, or the idea of ‘airships’. The first flying vehicle on this list, Ragnarok is one of the ‘airships’ you receive in Final Fantasy VIII (the other being Balamb Garden). So, what makes Ragnarok so special? Well for one it’s actually a spaceship that allows you to make your way through the world map at some pretty incredible speeds. There’s also that awesome scene where you break through the force field of Lunatic Pandora by activating Ragnarok’s attack mode and blasting right through the wall of that bitch. Those were some sexy cannons.
