Jeremy Lin Heads to Houston

It's official: Jeremy Lin is leaving the New York Knicks to join the Houston Rockets. The deal's been on the table for a long time, and there was a lot of back-and-forth while details were hammered out.

While the Knicks were willing to match Houston's initial four-year-contract worth $28.9 million, Lin reportedly went back to negotiate with Houston afterward.

Lin will be signing on a reworked three-year deal with the Rockets worth $25 million, which the Knicks have decided not to match.
