Earlier this summer, by which I actually mean back in the summer, because it's fall now, Star Wars fans at ComicCon were treated to something pretty special: a never-before-seen blooper reel from the original 1977 film. The footage was unearthed (I don't think it was actually buried, but that's what we say—"unearthed") by LucasFilm editor J.W Rinzler. He was working on yet another new "making of" documentary when he came across the lost footage and decided to give nerds a cheap thrill.

Of course, the reel was supposed to be a ComicCon exclusive, but everyone knoqa the internet will not be denied. And now it has given this two-minute, thirty-six second nerdgasm to the masses.

Thanks, internet!

In any case, I hope you enjoy this as much as I did—especially the part where Mark Hamill asks how to pronounce "super nova."
