Only in Austria: Beer Swimming Pools

Up until a few minutes ago, I couldn't care any less about Austria. (I used to think it was Australia that was spelled wrong. Now I know better.)

But now, Austria is currently one of my top three countries to visit--of course, the Netherlands will always come first because by nether regions desperately want to hit what the Red Light district has to offer. You might be wondering what brought on this sudden change of heart. Three words: beer swimming pools.

I'm not sure if these exist in other countries, but they're as real as real can get in Austria. The magic is located at Starkenberger's Castle, which is a brewery that offers 'the world's only beer-swimming-pools' in existence. There are seven 13-foot pools filled with warm beer for you to wade in. So if you do get the chance to visit this fine country, savor the moment and savor the beer.
