One Easy Way to Get a Bump in Your Allowance is to Be a Child Academy Award Nominee

Every year, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences gets together to celebrate excellence in cinema by handing out golden statues of a man, apparently named Oscar. Upon winning this award, one must cry and/or pretend like he/she did not expect to win, even though they were nominated for the award. Yeah, we don't get it either.
