This totally wouldn't have happened under the watch of Steve Jobs. Or maybe it might. Either way, someone at Apple is probably getting a huge ass-whooping right now over failing to control all those iPhone 5 leaks. No, a prototype of the device wasn't "lost" or "left" at a bar by some employee. Rather, literal bits and pieces of the device have been leaking out to the public these past couple of months.

The dudes over at managed to get their hands on all of these parts and made good use of their brain juices to put everything together.

The result is a fully-assembled iPhone 5 that at least verifies some of the iPhone 5 rumors that have been running wild and rampant on the Interwebs ever since the iPhone 4S was released. Here are the notable changes:

  • The display is a whole lot bigger at around 4 inches
  • The FaceTime camera has been moved to somewhere on top of the receiver
  • The headphone jack has been moved down beside the speakers

Check out the gallery for more images of the iPhone 5, which Apple might be unveiling on September 12th.
