One of my favorite lesser known titles announced at E3 2012 was Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch. It follows a young boy who is trying to become a master wizard to bring his mother back from the land of the dead. The anime-styled animations and emotional story is what piqued my curiosity and I've now got something else to hold my interest.

Namco Bandai have announced their collector's, or 'Wizard's' edition of their upcoming RPG. You can check out all the details below but first, for those who need a crash course on Ni Nu Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch...

Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, a heart-warming tale of a young boy named Oliver, who embarks on a journey into a parallel world in an attempt to bring his mother back from the dead.  Along the way, Oliver makes new friends and adopts many of the wonderful creatures that inhabit the world, raising them to battle other creatures on his behalf as he takes on formidable enemies.  Developed by LEVEL-5 with animation by the legendary Studio Ghibli, Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch combines beautiful animated visuals, masterful storytelling and a sweeping score into an epic role-playing adventure like no other.

Now onto the goods...

Ni No Kuni's 'Wizard's Edition' (along with the game itself) will include both the exclusive 'Golden Mite' and 'Golden Drongo' DLC Familiars, a 'Drippy' plush toy and a massive 300+ page hardcover book titled 'The Wizard's Companion' that may or may not contain spells to light your neighbors shrubs on fire.

No price has been listed for the Wizard's Edition as of yet but you can expect to get your hands on it January 22, 2013.
