Last week we showed you a new Star Wars: The Force Awakens Japanese trailer that brings up all kinds of questions. Like, when Rey (Daisy Ridley) says, "I know about waiting...for my family", that hints highly that she is Han and Leia's daughter and was stashed on the remote planet of Jakku in the same way that Luke and Leia were hidden as kids. This is all speculation, of course, but there is further evidence that Rey is the result of Han and Leia doing the no pants dance. In the new TV spot a disembodied voice says to Rey,
" I have lived long enough to see the same eyes in different people. I see your eyes. I know your eyes."
Perhaps it just means that the voice has seen the look of a rebel or whatever in Rey's eyes. Or MAYBE she KNOWS her eyes because they resemble her parents? The spot also shows her interacting a lot with Han. It seems that she spends a good bit of the movie with the scoundrel and his Wookie sidekick. It even shows her at the end possibly piloting the Millennium Falcon itself. Who better to pilot Han's beloved ship than his own daughter? We'll have to wait for December 18th to know for sure. It may just be a clever distraction to throw us off the scent of the truth.
