New ‘Solo’ Clip Finds the Title Character Facing Off Against The Cloud Riders (VIDEO)

Arguably Solo's most interesting addition to the Star Wars canon, from a visual standpoint anyway, has to be the new character Enfys Nest. The leader of the intergalactic bounty hunter crew known as The Cloud Riders takes center stage in this new clip from Solo: A Star Wars Story, due in theaters a week from Friday.

This clip also shows off the dynamics of the group Han is hanging with, where Woody Harrelson's Beckett is clearly the leader, but Han is the hotshot who can't keep his mouth shut. Also, where are Thandie Newton's character and that four-armed monkey thing that Jon Favreau's voicing? They were all over those early trailers, but something tells me they bite the dust early because they're barely in any of the latest marketing materials.

I still don't know what to think about Solo. I want to get excited because almost all of the marketing materials and trailers and clips have been good, but I don't want to get my hopes up for a movie like this. It only leads to disappointment. Better to go in and have your low expectations surpassed than set them so high that no film could possibly match them. We'll all find out on May 25.
