New Luke Cage Trailer Is Big On Plot/Butt Kicking

This Friday Luke Cage season 1 premieres on Netflix. It's been a long time since I've been this excited about a new TV show. While we caught glimpses of what Luke can do in Jessica Jones and the little clips of the show we've seen, this trailer gives us more an idea on the overall plot of the show. Luke Cage, (Mike Colter), is a badass dude who is practically indestructible and super strong. He makes it his mission to take down corrupt politician Mariah Dillard, (Alfre Woodard), and her gangster cousin Cornell “Cottonmouth” Stokes, (Mahershala Ali). Basically cleaning up Harlem for the little guy that are victimized by these a-holes. 

He does this by smashing people and catching bullets with his hands. HIS HANDS. Seriously, this is going to kick butt.
