New ‘Brave’ Images Released

People seem to have forgotten that Pixar's latest opus, Brave, is being released this summer. Which is understandable when you consider that there are so many sequels, re-boots and super hero movies being unleashed upon us over the next couple of months.

However there is a very real possibility that come Autumn time people will be talking about it in their droves.

So to whet your appetite for the adventures of Princess Merida, voiced by Boardwalk Empire's Kelly Macdonald, the studio have decided to release a couple of images.

Brave will tell the tale of Merida, Macdonald, who is a skilled archer and the impetuous daughter of King Ferfus and Queen Elinor, played by Billy Connolly and Emma Thompson respectively. She is determined to prove her worth to the country but inadvertently manages to cause a host of problems and chaos for the kingdom.

Promises to be spectacular, simply because Pixar are behind it.

It will hit cinema's on June 22nd 2012.
