Movember May Be Over But That Isn’t Stopping Middle-East Men From Getting Mustache Implants

When you think of people getting implants you think think of gorgeous blondes in LA getting breast implants, maybe even some chin, cheek or thick booty implants, or mayb you think of creepy gym rats getting calf implants. The one thing you never think of is some guy getting mustache implants. But apparently that's what men from the Middle East are doing these days to show off their masculinity and virility as surgeons in Europe and the Middle-East have found the amount of hair transplants to Arab men's upper-lip have risen in recent years.

Apparently an Arab gentleman's manliness is tied up in the thickness of his facial hair is a tradition stretching back to the Ottoman Empire. Or maybe the whole hipster thing has finally caught on in the Arab world. Is Bahrain the new Williamsburg? I understand, the whole thin and whispy thing doesn't really work unless you're John Waters, but to go so far as to get a surgeon to give you hair plugs beneath the nostrils seems like possibly the least manly thing to do. Getting a mustache implant equals like three spray tans + a pedicure + an eyebrow plucking and a massage from a guy.
