Michigan Woman Watched NASCAR With Corpse for More Than a Year

A woman in Michigan was found to be living with the corpse of the man she lived with, continuing to watch NASCAR with his body for around 18 months after he died in his chair.

Linda Chase and Charles Zigler lived together for about ten years. Police believe that Zigler died sometime around Christmas of 2010. Chase says Zigler 'fell asleep in his chair' and that was that. She cleaned his body and dressed him. She claimed the body didn't stink, according to the Jackson Citizen Patriot.

Of course she wasn't just chillin with ol' Charlie. Chase admitted to cashing Zigler's social security checks.  Chase told the Citizen Patriot, 'I didn't want to be alone. He was the only guy who was ever nice to me.'
