Margot Robbie Drops a Harley Quinn-Sized Surprise on Us from the Set of ‘Birds of Prey’

The more we've found out about the upcoming Birds of Prey movie featuring Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn, the less enticing it has sounded as a film. The fact that they're shoehorning the character into another franchise just to make it the first of a trilogy of films centered around the psychopathic clown lady doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me, either.

However, seeing Margot Robbie in her Harley Quinn costume in this new Instagram post almost made me forget how much I don't want to see this movie. Seriously, just a tease of Robbie in her costume posing for the camera is almost enough to make me forget how terrible Suicide Squad was. Almost.

This certainly doesn't redeem all of the terrible decision making that led to this film's existence, but it is enough to at least make me mildly curious about what Harley Quinn might be getting up to in this flick. If there's nothing else positive to say about this film, at least it's one more chance for Robbie to dazzle us with her thoroughly committed performance. If Suicide Squad proved nothing else, it's that she can't be hampered by a terrible film.
