Marc Maron Podcast Scores A Big Get

Marc Maron started his WTF Podcast in his garage a few years back when everyone assumed podcasts were something old people bought at those weird medical supply stores. Back then it was mainly comprised of him talking about his cats and self indulgently whining about his insecurities over a $30 Radio Shack mixer. Eventually it blossomed into a show on IFC centered around Maron's real life, with Maron playing himself except less creepy and way more likable. WTF is now one of the most popular podcasts in the world, and Maron routinely gets big name guests like Mel Brooks and Flo from the Progressive commercials. 

Maron now appears to have taken a giant leap for podcasting, because President Obama will be his guest on the next episode. It's also possible Obama has gone downhill and Wolf Blitzer passed on him in favor of Judd Nelson. Better mop up the cat pee. Maron has come a long way. I bet Obama's nervous.
