Maddie Ziegler in Chanel at The Beach!

Maddie Ziegler started dancing when she was two years old and started competing around age four, so she's had her fair share of literally being in the spotlight. The 18 year old went from being the young girl on that weird tv show Dance Moms to becoming the dancing It Girl appearing in nearly all of Sia's music videos.

More recently Maddie has made her way onto the big screen with her role in the movie Music starring alongside Kate Hudson, who shaved her head for the role.

"I was 11 years old when Sia reached out on Twitter asking me to be in her music video. She was actually a huge fan of Dance Moms and saw lots of potential in me. I’m so grateful that I was introduced to her world of art and creativity."

Maddie met up with Sbjct Journal magazine to talk about her rise in stardom and how she plans on using her large platform for good.
