Looking For A Job In Game Of Thrones Westeros?

I read once that a successful fictional world is one in which the audience wishes they lived there. Who wouldn't want to be a Jedi or smuggler in Star Wars or a wizard in Harry Potter world? But I'll tell you a world I absolutely wouldn't want to live: George R.R. Martin's Westeros. Or Essos. That whole world sucks. While it is a rich place with a lot of history that is fascinating to watch, I wouldn't want to actually live in it. It seems that if you are luckily enough to be a lord you are constantly worried about being assassinated at a wedding, getting tortured by a psycho, or getting your head chopped off. If you are a peasant your life is even more bleak. You will probably get raped and murdered or be killed and resurrected into an army of the dead. Luckily, there are plenty of job vacancies due to the large turn over rate due to death.

That's where Westeros Recruitment comes in. It's a (parody) job site in which you can apply for all kinds of jobs like Lord Commander of the Night's Watch or King in the North. Those positions and many more are open for employment. Sure, you'll probably die a grisly death, but hey it beats working at Burger King.
