Let’s All Watch a Sword-Wielding Optimus Prime Ride a Robot T-Rex in the new ‘Transformers 4’ Trailer

Thefirst trailer for Transformers: Age of Extinction was pretty good, but it focused a little too much on Mark Wahlberg and his teenage daughter for my liking.

Don't get me wrong. They got around to the transforming and exploding eventually, and it finished on a high note when Optimus Prime rassled that robot T-Rex. But let's be real—nobody goes to see a Transformers movie for all the human drama.

The second trailer for Age of Extinction is definitely an improvement. Instead of starting with shots of a dusty old farm, it starts with some sci-fi mumbo jumbo about precious space metals. Then they cut to the dusty farm and, finally, the explosions.

But here's the best part. In the end, Optimus Prime isn't rasslin' a dinosaur. He's riding that motherf*cker into battle like it's his valiant steed. And I'm pretty sure that is the most badas thing you will see at your local Cineplex all summer.

So make a note of it. Transformers: Age of Extinction hits theaters June 17.
