‘Killzone: Shadow Fall’ Introduces Free DLC Map ‘The Canyon’ (VIDEO)

Killzone: Shadow Fall's voice can still be faintly heard, coming from beneath a vast mound of Titanfalls and Call of Dutys and such. Its thunder has been so utterly and thoroughly stolen, but the poor bastard is nothing if not persistent.

Guerrilla recently released the Insurgent DLC pack, the game's first paid update. This brought us a new character class, the Insurgent; a master of insidious assholery who can steal equipment (and even abilities) from fallen foes like the cheeky mofo he is. What we didn't receive was a new map for the guy to ply his devious trade on.

The last installment of maptastic was the free dual Hangar pack back in March. Now there's another up for download: The Canyon. Above, you can feast your eyes, ears and bodily orifices on this new battlefield. It's derelict, dark and seems to sport some nice little snipe-y alcoves. Just like grandma used to make. Perhaps this will convince you to fire up this PS4 launch game once more.
