If there’s one commandment worth breaking it’s definitely the one about being buddy buddy with your neighbor when they’re clearly an anthropomorphic pile of douche. Justin Theroux and his co-op neighbor, Norman Resnicow, aren’t the best of friends. Theroux actually has enough money to move away from the man that he alleges is making his life a living hell, but he rather stick it out and complain until he feels better. It’s time to get out of dodge anytime someone takes legal action over a neighbor being too noisy, but Justin decided to turn things into a pissing match by suing Norman for $350,000 in punitive damages and claiming he violated his privacy when he let DailyMailUK in to do an article about Justin's basement storage unit. This entire ordeal is something that could easily be solved by sitting down and discussing their differences like adults but both parties rather let things turn into an episode of Seinfeld.

Last month Theroux blasted Resnicow for inviting the British tabloid into 71 Washington Place in October “to film my apartment’s exterior and snoop through the building’s locked basement storage area.”

“I was quite disturbed and unsettled by this astonishing invasion,” Theroux said in an affidavit.

Invasion of privacy for a celebrity is a very serious offense. It’s not like their life is on display already. They should be allowed to enjoy their million dollar shared properties in peace because moving to a location where there aren’t other people around to complain about noise is too easy. Once you’re above a few tax brackets you think you’re above being courteous. Justin is just exercising his Hollywood given rights as a celebrity. There’s something about having mounds of money that makes you develop an affinity for committing micro-aggressions and claiming victim status at the same time.
