Purple is a fitting color for a woman with two ripe plums sprouting from her chest. I guess it shows my ignorance that I did not even know they were in season. Now I am salivating so bad I think I am going to have to go to my local fruit stand and buy myself a bushel. And that is really saying something because my local fruit guy is a creepy son of a bitch. It is like he has been on a bender since he turned twenty-one. If a woman that looked as good as Julia Pereira were to open up a competing fruit stand he would not stand a chance. She would sell so many plums she would not be able to keep enough bushels in stock. I am ashamed to admit I still do not know what a bushel is. Does it refer to a quantity, or a weight? Does it even apply to fruit? I know this could be solved with a simple google search, but my pride will not allow me to do it. But it feels good to not know some things, like not knowing if Julia marks the box for single or married on government documents.
