Now that the holiday season is in full swing, we can all start watching the movies residing in that terrible subgenre known as Christmas movies. Sure there's some gems in there from Scrooged to Christmas Vacation, but by and large, the worst movies in many actors careers come from this one subgenre. While Jingle All the Way is far from Arnold Schwarzenegger's worst movie, it's certainly one of his most embarrassing.

The good folks over at Screen Junkies have put together one of them there Honest Trailers for the yuletide quasi-classic, hitting all the high notes while taking the film to task for celebrating rampant consumerism. I'm also a sucker for a Simpsons reference, so it's nice to see them bring both Radioactive Man and Troy McClure into the proceedings.

I'm also glad they went easy on poor Jake Lloyd. Seriously, that kid had it rough. He was a terrible child actor, yes, but "child" is part of that equation and it helps to keep that in the back of your mind. He was just doing what directors George Lucas and Brian Levant asked him and wanted him to do in their movies. It's kinda no wonder he hung it up after Phantom Menace.

If you must watch Jingle All the Way this holiday season, I would implore you to avoid the 20 years later direct to video sequel Jingle All the Way 2 with Larry the Cable Guy. It's actually a worse movie than the original, believe it or not.
