Jennifer Lawrence is Trained and Empowered in New ‘Red Sparrow’ TV Spot (VIDEO)

I have to say that for all that Red Sparrow has going for it, as a cinephile, I'm most excited about seeing Charlotte Rampling giving Jennifer Lawrence the business. If you've never seen 1974's The Night Porter with Rampling and Dirk Bogarde, I highly, highly recommend it for its absolutely twisted take on sex and power. 

Now that Jennifer Lawrence has finally out away childish things and started making "grown up" movies, I'm excited to see where this phase of her career will go. If this is another high profile bomb like mother!, I'm afraid she's going to reject anything overtly sexual for the foreseeable future. Bottom line, fellas, if we want to see Jennifer Lawrence continue getting nude on film, we've got to support the movies in which she gets nude!

There's no word on whether she's actually nude in this film, but they're certainly leaning in that direction with nearly every trailer and TV spot. I hope this movie's good and I hope Jennifer Lawrence gets nude in it, but if it can only be one or the other, I'll take the latter. We can all see the former in about a half dozen other movies. Red Sparrow opens on March 2.
