Jeff Daniels on ‘Dumb and Dumber’ Sequel: ‘We’re Middle-aged and We’re Still That Stupid’ (VIDEO)

Last night on Jimmy Fallon, actor Jeff Daniels spilled the beans about the upcoming Dumb & Dumber sequel. Apparently, the characters are now older, but they're still stupid. Who'd a thunk it?

'I've seen the script. It's hysterical,' Daniels told Fallon. 'We're middle-aged, we're not pretending we aren't. We're middle-aged and we're still that stupid.'

Personally, I'm a little disappointed. I was hoping that Daniels and Jim Carrey would act like they were still in their late 30's, and that Harry and Lloyd would have reached a higher level of intellectual maturity. But I guess I'll have to settle for stupid characters in my Dumb & Dumber sequel.
