Jar Jar Binks Will NOT Be In “The Force Awakens”

The Internet is a wretched hive of scum and villainy when it comes to baseless rumors meant to cause anxiety. As if the anticipation of fans for Star Wars: The Force Awakens not sucking wasn't enough, there was a nasty rumor going around that JJ Abrams had included the most hated character in the Star Wars universe in the film: Jar Jar Binks. Originally, the rumor stated that he had included him in the movie only to kill him but that all turns out to be B.S. Star Wars producer Kathleen Kennedy has confirmed that Jar Jar is nowhere to be seen in the new films. We can only hope that in the 50 years since we last saw him he either died on his own or spent the rest of his life in exile on Naboo beating himself up for, you know, basically allowing the Empire to take power.

I knew this was a lie when I first heard it. JJ Abrams may have his flaws but he's not insane enough, like George Lucas, to include a character as hated as Jar Jar Binks in this new movie. I'm not saying Jar Jar is the only reason that the prequels sucked bantha balls, but he was a BIG reason.
