It’s J.R.R. Tolkien Week! Celebrate with Seven New Images from ‘The Hobbit’

If you're well-versed in the world of Tolkien, then you'll know that it's J.R.R. Tolkien Week this week. This Friday marks the 75th anniversary of the publication of The Hobbit, which is the book that started it all. There's also a double-birthday celebration in order for Saturday because September 22nd is also the birthday of both Frodo and Bilbo Baggins.

With all these milestones and special dates lined up, you can expect Percy Jackson and his crew to release a slew of special content from The Hobbit--starting off with seven new images from the movie.

There's also a new trailer slated for release on September 19th (which is tomorrow.) Of course, we'll have that for you here when it hits. Until then, enjoy these new images and celebrate with the rest of the world for the marvels that J.R.R. Tolkien's words have brought us!
