The type of things you’re allowed to get away with when you’re an Australian woman with a heinie the size of a hippo is amazing. Crocodilian Dundette Iggy Azalea casually bragged about burning Nick Young’s expensive clothing on Watch What Happens Live. Young was her NBA ex-boyfriend and the last reason she was still relevant because rap wasn’t working out for her. Azalea pretty much did nothing other than put her foot in her mouth the entire interview and reinforce why women like her shouldn’t manage more than making reservations. Most lack the ability to make the best decisions under pressure. Scorching a man’s silk Versace shirt won’t lead to him un-fucking the woman he cheated with.

“I burnt it all, darling,” she said gleefully. “Every designer you could think of, I’ve burned.” Initially she tried to destroy his haute couture by tossing it into a nearby swimming pool, but “it just seemed like that didn’t work.” That’s when she moved on to the impromptu bonfire.

Iggy turning into a pyromaniac after she became a victim of her lover’s infidelity was only her following protocol. Feeling emotionally damaged doesn’t mean it’s okay to damage the items around you under the impression that somehow makes a situation “even Stevens.” Burning possessions because your boyfriend cheated isn’t really eye for an eye and it makes about as much sense as punching a wall you accidentally ran into. If she really wanted to hit him where it hurts she would have gotten married or had his child. Either way she would leave with half of everything or child support as consolation. But Azalea is about as cunning as a dodo bird so burning things was her best option. I can just imagine the outrage if the roles were reversed. But since most people who encounter Iggy wish to have sex with her most people can look past and laugh off the property damage.
