Honest Trailers Kicks Poor ‘Gotti’ While It’s Down, Results Are Delightful (VIDEO)

If you haven't yet had the privilege of seeing Gotti yet, allow me to prepare you for one of the dumbest movies you'll ever see with this very funny Honest Trailer from the folks over at Screen Junkies. John Travolta's summer stinker gets the roasting it deserves and there are more than a few classic bits to be found here.

The extended riff comparing the film to Goodfellas is pretty fantastic and definitely had me chuckling. There's nothing funny about Gotti, though, at least not in the "laughing with the audience" way. No, this is a movie you laugh out loud at, derisively.

I also love the bit where they point out MoviePass' attempted rigging of the Rotten Tomatoes audience score. That was a delightful little section of this video, and another solid reminder of why it flopped and the company that produced it is on the verge of going under.

I would love to see John Travolta get a role in a film people will see again. He's one of my all-time favorites and he's just sort of withering away into a joke. Hopefully Tarantino could work his magic and give the actor another time to shine. Gotti, should you so desire to see it, is on DVD, Blu-ray, and On Demand now.
