Hines Ward Retires From the NFL

Hines Ward, the Pittsburgh Steelers' all time leader in receptions, receiving yards and touchdown catches, announced his retirement today after 14 NFL seasons, all with Pittsburgh.

Ward was released by the Steelers on March 2nd. He is one of eight players to reach 1,000 receptions. He helped the Steelers win two Super Bowls during his career, and was the MVP of Super Bowl XL. Hines also was a Dancing With the Stars champion.
